In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

Abud-Darda said: “The signs of the ignorant one are three: self-conceit, much talk in that which does not concern him, and forbidding others from something he himself commits.”

Hadith ~ An atom’s weight

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

Narrated Abdullah ibn Masoud (may Allah be pleased with him); ‘The Prophet (SAWS) said: “He in whose heart is an atom’s weight of haughtiness will not enter Paradise and he in whose heart is an atom’s weight of Faith will not enter Fire.” A man rose up and said; ‘I like to wear a tidy garment and good footwear?’ The Prophet (SAWS) said: “Indeed, Allah is Good and loves what is good. Haughtiness is denying right and disdaining people.” (At-Termizi)

Ayaat 94-97 ~ An-Nahl (The Bees)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

94. And make not your oaths, a means of deception among yourselves, lest a foot may slip after being firmly planted, and you may have to taste the evil (punishment in this world) of having hindered (men) from the Path of Allâh (i.e. Belief in the Oneness of Allâh and His Messenger, Muhammad ), and yours will be a great torment (i.e. the Fire of Hell in the Hereafter).

95. And purchase not a small gain at the cost of Allâh’s Covenant. Verily! What is with Allâh is better for you if you did but know.

96. Whatever is with you, will be exhausted, and whatever with Allâh (of good deeds) will remain. And those who are patient, We will certainly pay them a reward in proportion to the best of what they used to do.

97. Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islâmic Monotheism) verily, to him We will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and We shall pay them certainly a reward in proportion to the best of what they used to do (i.e. Paradise in the Hereafter).

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

A man asked Hasan bin ‘Ali, “I have a daughter and people have proposed to her, so to whom should I marry her?”

He said, “Marry her to one who fears Allah, for if he loves her, he will honor her; and if he hates her, he will not wrong her.”

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

Narrated Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) ‘The Messenger of Allah (May Allah exalt his mention and protect him from imperfection) said: “He that performed twelve voluntary raka’as persistently, Allah builds a house in Paradise for him. Four raka’as before Zohr prayer and two raka’as after it, two raka’as after Maghrib prayer, two raka’as after Isha prayer, and two raka’as before Fajr prayer.’”

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

190. Verily! In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day, there are indeed signs for men of understanding.

191. Those who remember Allâh (always, and in prayers) standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and think deeply about the creation of the heavens and the earth, (saying): “Our Lord! You have not created (all) this without purpose, glory to You! (Exalted be You above all that they associate with You as partners). Give us salvation from the torment of the Fire.

192. “Our Lord! Verily, whom You admit to the Fire, indeed, You have disgraced him, and never will the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers) find any helpers.

193. “Our Lord! Verily, we have heard the call of one (Muhammad SAWS) calling to Faith: ‘Believe in your Lord,’ and we have believed. Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and remit from us our evil deeds, and make us die in the state of righteousness along with Al-Abrâr (those who are obedient to Allâh and follow strictly His Orders).

Sura 3. Al-Imran (The Family of Imran)
